Reproductive Performance of Kacang Goats in Closed Population Areas of Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, Indonesia

The objective of this study was to determine the reproductive performance Kacang goats in a closed population area Oro-Oro Farm located Sawohan Village, Buduran Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency. We used 146 goat with range parity from 1 > 7. Data analysis carried out using ANOVA test, Least Significant Difference (LSD) coefficient variation test and descriptive measure litter size, pre-weaning mortality, kidding interval (KI), days open (DO) reproduction index. results showed that highest size 1.69 ± 0.63 at 6, lowest mortality 7 11.76%, shortest 4 for 7.35 1.22 2.35 months, respectively. best index 2.22 6 38.06%, 41.08% 13.36% (LS), (DO), (KI). Conclusively, there diverse Regency based on 7, which higher parity, performance. However, 5 onwards saw declining due weakened livestock conditions.
